Penis Enlargement (Penis Extension) Surgery

Penis size, length, thickness and functionality are important for men. Penile deformities, size problems, thinness and curvature can be seen.The aim of the penis enlargement or penis extension surgery is to lenghten the penis size. The basis of this surgery is to ensure that the ligament that connects the penis to the pubic bone is cut and that the penis is released. In addition, liposuction of the fat in the inguinal region, correction of the skin between the penis and the testis bag and fillings to penis head can be applied. During penis extension surgery, penis thickening is usually performed at the same time by using fat grafts.

Releasing (Suspensory Ligament) of the Penis Ligament

The suspensory ligament, the ligament which is fixed the penis to body, is a structure that does not appear from the outside of the penis and that the part of the body remaining in the body holds onto the pelvis.The part of the penis that appears outside the body, as well as there are parts inside the body.In other words, approximately 50% of the penis length is inside the body.As a result of the releasingthe suspensory ligament, the part of the penis which is inside the body is released.As a result of the release of the part inside, the visible length of the penis is also extended.As a result of releasing this ligament, a permanent extension between about 2 and 5 cm occurs.

This is an operation that requires surgery experience. During the operation, it is very important not to damage the vessels carrying the blood to the penis and the nerves that make the penis erected. Therefore, the use of a special laser is required. There is no bleeding at the operations performed with laser and the healing occurs much faster.

After the releasing  of the suspensory ligament, the penis may stick to the same bone in the recovery phase of the operation. For this reason, some instruments streching the penis are used for a period of 3 months after the operation. With these instruments, the penis is stretched in a controlled manner, and the extension in the penis is made permanent. However, when these devices are used alone, they do not work, they should be used as an aid after penis extension surgery.

Penis extension surgery is performed under general anesthesia and lasts about 1 hour. The patient is sent home the next day. The penis remains in the dressing for about a week after the operation. For 6 weeks, sexual intercourse and masturbation are prohibited. Then, penis extender devices are used for 3 months to make the extension in the penis permanent.

Supra-Pubic V-Y Plasty

This is a part of the penis extension surgery. In order to support penile extension, an incision in the region called pubis which is placed above the penis root and under the belly is made in the form of an inverted Y letter and the skin is taken forward by suturing. Within a month or two after surgery, the incision is completely lost.

Suprapubic Liposuction

In some men, the region which is placed above the penis root and called pubis is fattened. The fat accumulated here can sometimes cause the penis to be pulled in and buried. This leads to a shorter penis size. Removing of the fat in this region during the penis extension surgery by the liposuction method can provide an extension of approximately 1-1.5 cm.

Peno-SkrotalPlasty

In some men, the junction of the penis and the testicle bag called scrotum may be abnormal. In these people, the skin of the bag is attached to the middle of the penis. This situation, called the turkey neck appearance, causes the penis to be perceived as shorter than the visual aspect. Correction of this skin gives a sense of extension in the penis.

Thickening of the penis

Penis thickening is often done at the same time as the penis extension process. In the thickening of the penis, the most reliable filler is the fat graft obtained from one’s own tissues. Synthetic fillers are likely to be absorbed by the body and form an allergic side effect. Therefore, it is not much preferred for thickening of the penis.

After the fat injection process, it is normal to see some melting and volume loss at first. However, approximately 60% of the injected volume is permanent. This process can be repeated after 6 months for better results. Approximately 1.5-2 cm thickening around the penis is achieved with fat tissue injection.
